Our mounted flannelboards are handcrafted onto lightweight, reinforced cardboard backing and forms the environments for many of our educational products. They are also available as Do-It-Yourself flannelgraph covers (felt only).

Mounted Boards vs. Unmounted Backgrounds: 

Felt boards are felt backgrounds mounted to heavy duty cardboard and then reinforced with additional cardboard to create a sturdy felt board. Felt backgrounds are just the scene on a piece of felt (not made into a board). Backgrounds can be overlayed on top of an existing felt board.
